Salary plus benefits

Main responsibilities include:

. Provide physical and social support for student with physical needs in general classroom setting.

. Assist classroom teachers with planning and implementing curriculum for this student.

. Meet with service providers, such as physical therapists, speech/language specialists.

. Contribute to daily communication between home and school.

. Support classroom teacher with implementing inclusive activities in class.

. Program and assist student in using assistive technology devices (training provided).

. Perform basic physical therapy daily (training provided).

. Perform tasks such as bathroom assistance and g-tube feeding (training and stipend provided).

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with high needs children.
